Abi's Vegetables, Jams & Chutneys is all about quality. Based in the beautiful Penwith Peninsula, between Penzance and Morvah in Cornwall, we work closely with local farmers and trusted wholesalers to bring the freshest, locally grown vegetables and British produce to farmers' markets across the region.
Introducing Our Team
Meg founded the Jam & Chutney brand after years in the culinary world. She trained as a chef in the 1990s and spent a decade honing her skills before focusing on family life with Rob. In 2022, when their youngest daughter, Abi, needed funding for her athletics, Meg whipped up a batch of cherry jam and plum chutney to offer in exchange for donations. The idea took off, and the brand was born. Today, they offer nine chutneys and nine jams, all made in small batches in Meg’s kitchen without added preservatives. Rob, who handles the vegetable side of things, occasionally jumps in to help with production.

Rob brings over 20 years of retail experience to our mission of supporting local farmers, making sure they get fair pay for their produce. At Abi’s, we focus on quality, freshness, and flavour, standing apart from mass-produced goods that are often plastic-wrapped and kept in large refrigeration units before hitting the shelves. We’re dedicated to building strong, trustworthy connections with both farmers and customers, so you can enjoy the very best from local agriculture.
